The Project
The refrigerant for the entire meat works is supplied from the ammonia chiller engine room. This includes the complex and process-critical blast tunnel continuous chilling system. Both systems required complete control system upgrades. Models were created to allow new control systems to be verified before plant shutdowns for commissioning.
Results
- Commissioning of both systems with no impacts on production.
